Toshiaki Yamagishi
Founder of Yellows Plus
While Toshiaki Yamagishi (1966) worked from a young age at his parents' eyewear trading company, he spent his days studying the work of craftsmen and learned everything about designing glasses.
Motivated to create new styles in higher quality and with attention to detail, he began designing his own models. After the successful sale of his styles to Japanese opticians, he founded Yellows Plus in 2001. The brand initially started as a "collection by Japanese people, for Japanese people," but was soon enthusiastically received in the European market as well.

"Obviously one of the big reasons our product has a high reputation worldwide is simply because of its exquisite feel of class and quality."

High quality & comfort
Available in 700 stores
As the brand gained more and more global recognition, it became important to adapt the features of the glasses to different face shapes. A unique process for ordinary Japanese designers, but for Toshiaki Yamagishi, universal beauty, high quality, and comfort are the ideal combination for eyewear wearers around the world. Toshiaki Yamagishi is motivated to expand and pass on the universal beauty of glasses to future generations.
According to the beliefs of Toshiaki Yamagishi, Yellows Plus has grown into a global brand and is now sold worldwide in more than 700 stores..
